Opacmare has made product quality a conscious prime objective right from the raw materials used in the production process aimed at guaranteeing totally reliable top level quality products.  Key product characteristics are checked during production and before shipping as per the rules determined by leading certification including ABS, Veritas, Lloyds and RINA.

In 2000 Opacmare was accredited by RINA (the Italian Naval Registry) with the UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 Certificate and in March 2007 was issued with the UNI-EN ISO 14001:2004 certification of environmental management systems.

The procedures required for certification regard the design (research and use of eco-compatible materials) and production (awareness and anti-pollution processes) stages of both suppliers and customers, ensuring that products are correctly serviced and subsequently disposed of at the end of their life-cycle in full respect of the marine  environment. Opacmare considers these aspect to be fundamental and provides all its technicians with specific marine environment protection training.
