PRIVACY NOTICE PURSUANT TO ARTICLE 13 OF EU REGULATION 2016/679
OPACMARE S.p.A. (hereinafter "Opacmare") hereby provides this Notice to inform visitors of the website "www.opacmare.it/com" (hereinafter the "Website") of the policy adopted regarding the protection of personal data. Pursuant to and for the purposes of EU Regulation 2016/679, OPACMARE provides the following information.
Data Controller

Data Protection Officer
The Data Controller has appointed a Data Protection Officer ("DPO"), who can be contacted at the email address: dpo@opacmare.it, for all matters related to data processing and the exercise of rights, which can be exercised under the GDPR and as described in §9 of this Notice.
Types of Personal Data Processed through the Website
Connection and navigation data
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this Website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers and terminals used by users, URI/URL addresses (Uniform Resource Identifier/Locator) of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.), and other parameters relating to the user's operating system and computer environment, collected solely for the purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the Website and to ensure its correct functioning, and are deleted immediately after processing.
Data communicated by the user
The optional, explicit, and voluntary sending of messages to the contact form entails the acquisition of the sender's identifying and contact data, as well as any other personal data necessary to respond to the transmitted requests.

Data Processing Methods
The processing of personal data concerning you will mainly be carried out using electronic means, also automated, in ways and with tools suitable to ensure the security and confidentiality of the data themselves. In particular, all technical and organizational security measures will be adopted to ensure an adequate level of data protection, as required by law, allowing access only to authorized persons for processing by the Data Controller or the Data Processors designated by the Data Controller. The information acquired and the processing methods will be relevant and not excessive in relation to the type of services provided. OPACMARE retains personal data through servers mainly located within the European Economic Area; however, it reserves the right to use services located in countries outside the EU, in which case service providers are selected from those residing in countries considered "adequate" within the meaning of Article 45 of the GDPR, or provide contractual and procedural guarantees pursuant to Articles 46 and following of the GDPR.
Purposes and Legal Bases of Processing
The processing carried out through the Website is carried out for the following purposes and under the conditions of lawfulness (or legal bases) indicated below with reference to each of these purposes:
a) to allow you to navigate our Website and to use the services offered through the dedicated areas;
b) to provide you with assistance and information upon your request and respond to your inquiries (via the "Contact" form, email, or telephone);
c) for research and selection purposes in case you submit your application for one or more of the job positions offered in the "Work with us" section. In the above cases, the legal basis for the processing is the execution of a contract and pre-contractual measures (Art. 6.1b GDPR);
d) to comply with obligations imposed by laws or regulations or orders from competent authorities and police. The legal basis for this processing is the need to comply with a legal obligation (Art. 6.1 c GDPR);
e) for the technological maintenance and updating of the Website. The legal basis for this processing is the legitimate interest in the security and maintenance of the Website (Art. 6.1 f GDPR).
Nature of Data Provision and Consequences of Non-Provision of Data
The provision of data for the purposes of points a), b), and c) of §5 above is necessary to allow the use of the services offered through the Website; failure, partial, or inaccurate provision of the data in question will result in the inability to navigate the Website and meet your requests. For the purpose of point d) of §5, the provision of data is mandatory by law, and in case of non-provision, the services offered cannot be provided due to the inability to comply with legal obligations. For the purpose of point e) of §5, the data subject provides the data for the prevailing legitimate interest of the Data Controller; see §9 for the right to object.
Recipients of Data
The personal data of users may be communicated to the following categories of recipients:
(a) external service providers to whom OPACMARE may turn for technical (e.g., hosting and technological maintenance of the Website) and organizational services, functional to the management of the Website;
(b) subjects (Judicial Authority, police forces) who have access to personal data by virtue of regulatory or administrative provisions;
(c) recruitment agencies to examine your application and possibly manage the recruitment process. A list of Data Processors is available upon request by writing to privacy@opacmare.it. Data Processors are bound by appropriate contractual obligations pursuant to Article 28 GDPR to implement security measures to protect the security and confidentiality of personal data.
Terms of Personal Data Retention
OPACMARE retains your personal data for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes set out above. In particular, OPACMARE adopts the following retention periods:
Contact requests/information. Your personal data will be kept for the time necessary to process the request.
Applications. Your applications will not be kept beyond one year from the date of data submission, safe in case of your consent to a further detention period of one year for future job offers.

Rights of Data Subjects
Pursuant to Articles 15-22 of EU Regulation 2016/679, you, as a data subject, are granted the following rights:
Right of access: you have the right to obtain confirmation of the existence of processing of personal data concerning you and, if applicable, to obtain a copy. You also have the right to access the personal data concerning you and additional information such as the purpose of the processing, the categories of recipients, the retention period of the data, and the rights that can be exercised.
Right to rectification: you have the right to obtain the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you or the integration of the same.
Right to erasure: you have the right to obtain the erasure of personal data concerning you, without undue delay, if one of the reasons provided for in Article 17 exists.
Right to restriction of processing: you have the right, in cases provided for by Article 18 of Regulation 2016/679, to obtain restriction of processing.
Right to data portability: you have the right to receive the personal data concerning you in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and you have the right to transmit such data to another controller without hindrance, as provided for in Article 20 of Regulation 2016/679.
Right to object to processing: you have the right to object to the processing of personal data concerning you as provided for in Article 21 of Regulation 2016/679.
Complaint: you also have the right under Article 77 of the Regulation to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority for the protection of personal data (www.garanteprivacy.it).
The above rights can be exercised by making a request to the Data Controller without formalities by post to the contacts indicated above or by email to privacy@opacmare.it. In case of violations or denial of privacy rights, data subjects can write to the Data Protection Officer (DPO) by contacting dpo@opacmare.it.
Revision Clause
OPACMARE reserves the right to revise this Privacy Policy at any time. The most recent version of the Privacy Policy is always available on the Website.
